About Me

In 1987, when I was three years old, I found a hubcap from a 1970 Pontiac on James Street in my hometown of Morristown, NJ. To put it simply, things progressed from there. In 1997, on advice from Oradell, NJ's "Hubcap Joe" DeMarco, I converted my hobby into a functioning business. During my high school years, I ran a successful Web site under the name "Andrew L's Hubcap Store".

Just when things were getting good, I went off to college in Pennsylvania and was forced to shut down the site due to lack of storage space for my inventory. I graduated in 2005, and today I live in a house in Philadelphia, shared with 3,000 hubcaps and a Buick Estate Wagon.

In 2006, I relaunched my site as Rimtrim.com, which brings us to the present day.
People sometimes ask me, "Have you collected hubcaps all your life?" I say, "Not yet!"
